The safety of people in the workplace is the first goal to be achieved. In suction systems, fires often develop caused by combustion of the transported material or by sparks mixed with the material in the pipes or in the filter.

The best way to stop the spread of fire are the firebreak sash shutters and the firebreak valves. Two types of protection that Aircom has designed and developed for installation in pipes where processing residual material passes.

The Firebreak Valve is very compact and can be installed close to the wall or ceiling, often a very important feature.

The main advantage of these shutters is to have the entire passage section free, there is no blade or diaphragm in the middle of the pipe which, upon passage of the material, would be consumed or destroyed in a very short time, losing the fireproof function. It is very important that the diaphragm is always intact in its characteristics to stop fire and smoke and only with the guillotine or retractable type it is possible to keep the characteristics intact over time.

They are all safety elements certified according to EN1366-2 EN1363-1 Standards and can be installed on Horizontal or Vertical pipes.

There are models with thermal fuse closure and others with electro-pneumatic closure controlled by a fire or spark detection system.

They are standard manufactured no-Atex but also in the Atex version, in galvanized steel or stainless steel.
