The new series of EN16447 certified Atex Combo non-return valves is the result of Aircom’s research and continuous development in the world of explosion safety in suction systems.

The installation of non-return valves in suction systems almost always requires the use of a curve before the valve and this was the reason that prompted us to test and certify the Combo model valves combined with a bend. A reason that wants to give plant engineers real possibilities to carry out a functional system in compliance with current regulations to protect people and structures in a company.

Another very important feature of the COMBO valves is the Kst class achieved during the bursting tests which is the ST3 class, the maximum class that allows the use of almost all materials processed and transported to the suction systems

But the advantages obtained in this project are also other and very important: the opening angle of the diaphragm which is 60-65° which allows a lower impact on the passage of air inside the valve and consequent lower pressure drop and also a range of minimum and maximum installation distance greater than those available up to now make this new model a general reference point for Atex non-return valves.

The dimensions of certified valves are from 100mm to 1200mm diameter, a variety that allows to protect a wide dimensional range of suction systems.
