The analysis of some aspects in the productions has an important impact in the evaluation of an extraction system:

  •  OPTIMIZATION OF THE SUCTION SYSTEM is one of the fundamental points for modern machinery and production centers which are increasingly automated production systems.

The high efficiency of the Suction system determines lower maintenance costs and machine downtime in the productions and determines the quality degree in the processes.

  •  ELIMINATION OF WASTE: it is essential to reduce processing residues from the suction line but above all from idle machinery. This is very easily achievable with careful attention in the application of the closing and opening systems of the suction vents in the machinery.

The closing and opening systems (dampers or valves) of the suction vents are of different types, and later we will also see the differences in their use, but what is important to optimize suction and energy consumption (electricity) it is the type of closing/opening.

The one that offers the maximum optimization is the opening when the machine is started up and the closing when the machine is stopped.

The opening/closing can be electro-pneumatic or electric and is controlled by the operating machine. As it is easily understandable, with the elimination of useless suction, the suction system requires less electrical power in the fan and the machines that work certainly have an advantage with a constant and higher suction.
